Airplane Fuel Made from Garbage

Trash-to-jet fuel is in the works thanks to British Airways and Washington D.C.-based Solena Fuels.
The duo plan to convert a large oil refinery site outside London into a facility that would use existing waste from household trash into biofuel. The project, known as London Green Sky, could be up and running by 2017.
